A great opportunity for a seasoned and multilingual internal sales specialist to support new business development for a cutting edge genotyping service.
You will be responsible for automated genotyping sales, lead management and pull-through.
Expected to qualify accounts for up-and-cross selling opportunities for the Regional Sales Management team.
Working closely with and triage current customers and lead inquiries with Customer Success, Genetic Resolutions, Field Sales, and software support teams.
Serve academic research partners and laboratories in a professional, ethical, and persuasive manner to increase sales within allotted territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboard inbound genotyping leads and engage new prospects via outbound sales calls and emails.
Maintain and service new genotyping customers from registration onwards.
Support ongoing sales administrative tasks to assist customer needs such as account set up, logistics and follow up.
Qualify genotyping accounts for adoption of additional product lines and services in specialist software and diagnostic sales, liaising with the regional field based sales teams across UK or Europe.
Initiate approaches to prospective leads to uncover immediate need and map decision-makers, their current genotyping models and pain points.
Expect 5-7 business calls per day with all business interactions recorded in SaleForce.
Follow up genotyping leads from conferences and exhibitions, customer meetings and presentations, marketing initiatives and other lead sources from interest to adoption.
Triage technical inquiries and complaints and conduct warm hand off to the appropriate support team.
Attend Sales Call, Weekly Company-Wide Calls, Annual Sales Meetings, and Sales Training Programs.
Attend conferences and exhibitions as needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Science or related field of study preferred.
Must have at least 5 years’ experience in sales or business development.
Experience selling in Life Science field and laboratory setting preferred and highly beneficial.
For UK only role - must be able to fluently speak, read and write in English
For European only role - must be able to fluently speak, read and write in English and at least one other European language
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have the right to work in the UK or other listed country - sponsorship is not available

Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
