​Office based near Doncaster

An exciting new role has been created for an experienced Product Manager to join an international organisation. You will be helping to manage and develop the purchasing and pricing process with principles and suppliers both commercially and technically that are key for their Solvent product lines. Reporting to the Commercial Director and closely working with the technical, sales, marketing and purchasing teams. You will be predominantly working from your local office with occasional travel to customers and to attend Team and Industry events as required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end life cycle of the solvent product portfolio, including product strategy, development, pricing, and retirement decisions

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. Leverage insights to shape product strategies and identify growth opportunities.

  • Develop pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies to maximise market share and profitability.

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to deliver value to customers and support commercial initiatives.

  • Ensure that products adhere to industry regulations and align with sustainability goals, including exploring eco-friendly innovations.

  • Monitor product performance, track KPIs, and implement strategies to meet financial and market objectives.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong commercial and technical background, ideally gained through experience within the chemicals, solvents or related markets.

  • Prior involvement of supplier management with demonstrable experience of relationship building.

  • A strong commercial acumen with high regard for accuracy and is confident navigating and presenting commercial data with the Team.

  • Proactive mindset with a solution-oriented approach to challenges.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving results

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with stakeholders of all levels and backgrounds.

  • You must have the right to work in the UK, sponsorship is not available.
