As a key member of their growing R&D team, you’ll be hands-on with product development, formulation, testing, and manufacturing processes. This is an incredible chance to apply and grow your scientific skills in a fast-evolving field. While prior experience in formulation is a plus, full training will be provided—making this an ideal role for an enthusiastic science graduate eager to embark on an career in industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulation and development of inks and coatings

  • Conduct laboratory experiments and prepare samples for testing;

  • Evaluate and implement new raw materials and technologies for inks;

  • Perform quality control checks on raw materials and finished products;

  • Conduct experiments, analyse and communicate results, and write reports;

  • Work with cross-functional teams including research and development, sales and production to ensure successful product development;

  • Uphold and maintain laboratory safety protocols and standards;

  • Maintain results documentation and prepare technical reports;

  • Work closely with technical teams to resolve technical issues and optimize product performance;

  • Provide technical support to customers and colleagues as needed

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field;

  • 3+ years of experience in formulation chemistry, preferably, but not essential

  • Preferably, but not essential, Knowledge of colour science, materials science, analytical equipment and printing technologies;

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented;

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment;

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;

  • UK driving license is essential as the site has no public transport links;

  • Must have the right to work in the UK, sponsorship is not available;
