Regional Sales Manager covering France, BeNeLux, Spain, Italy and Portugal

A great opportunity for a seasoned and multilingual Regional Sales Manager to develop business for cutting edge services in Automated Genotyping (genotyping), Microbiome (MB), and Genetic Monitoring (GM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Regional Sales Director and work closely with Regional Account Management team.

  • Achieve annual revenue growth targets by developing and servicing new and existing business in academic research institutions and large laboratories.

  • Upsell current genotyping customer base into MB and GM; plus future additional services and products.

  • Develop territory sales strategy, including recommendations and assistance in the development of new sales and marketing tools.

  • Liaison between customer and Product Specialists, Field Specialists, Customer Solutions, Genetic Resolutions, and Marketing.

  • Improve sales effectiveness by remaining current on technical and scientific information.

  • Attend academic and national trade exhibitions shows and marketing events and conferences.

  • Meet all KPI's in territory management and activity reporting.

  • Travel as expected up to 50% annually.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a science related field.

  • A true hunter-driver with at least 10 years’ experience in sales.

  • Experience selling to all levels in the life science field and laboratory setting preferred and highly beneficial.

  • Additional experience selling lab services at academic research institutions is highly beneficial.

  • Customer oriented and willing to proactively address issues in a quick, creative, and innovative manner.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and can work cooperatively and collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders.

  • Outgoing, flexible, adaptable, and energetic.

  • Analytical, attention to detail, and can prioritize and multi-task.

  • Must have the right to work in Europe - sponsorship is not available

  • Fluent speaking and written skills in at least French and English
